Welcome to an exciting opportunity at the forefront of cutting-edge research! We invite applications from eligible candidates to fill 2 (Two) positions of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a contract basis. This unique opportunity is part of a DBT funded project titled ‘Network center for research on glioblastoma stem cell–targeted T-cell immunotherapy using non-genetically engineered mesenchymal stromal cells.’ The project is under the leadership of Dr. Nandakumar DN, Professor, and Head of Neurochemistry at NIMHANS, Bengaluru, who also serves as the Principal Investigator.
As a Junior Research Fellow in this dynamic project, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to advancing research on glioblastoma stem cell-targeted T-cell immunotherapy. This innovative project explores the use of non-genetically engineered mesenchymal stromal cells to unlock new possibilities in the treatment of glioblastoma, a challenging and complex form of brain cancer.

Emoluments |
As per DST guidelines (No. SR/S9/Z-08/2018, dt. 30.01.2019). Rs.31,000/- pm + HRA 24% will be paid to those candidates who have passed national level examinations conducted by central government departments and their agencies. |

Duration of the project |
Initial appointment will be made for a period of 1 year, which will be extended depending upon the performance of the candidate. |
