2. REASONING

• Analytical Reasoning

• Mental Ability: Number series, Letter series, Odd man out, Coding-Decoding

• Problems relating to relations, shapes, and their sub-sections

• Basic Numeracy:

  • Elementary knowledge of Mathematical and Statistical Analysis

  • Data Analysis (Tables, Bar diagram, Line graph, Pie-chart)

3. MATHEMATICS

A. ARITHMETIC:

• Number systems: Natural numbers, Integers, Rational and Irrational numbers, Real numbers

• Divisors of an integer, Prime integers

• L.C.M. and H.C.F. of integers and their interrelationship

• Average, Ratio and Proportion

• Percentage, Profit and Loss

• Simple and Compound Interest

• Work and Time, Speed, Time and Distance

B. ALGEBRA:

• Factors of polynomials

• L.C.M. and H.C.F. of polynomials and their interrelationship

• Remainder theorem

• Simultaneous linear equations

• Quadratic equations

Set Theory:

• Set, null set, subsets and proper subsets

• Set operations (Union, Intersection, Difference, Symmetric Difference)

• Venn Diagrams

C. GEOMETRY:

• Constructions and theorems regarding:

  • Triangle, Rectangle, Square, Trapezium and Circles

• Perimeter and area of 2D shapes

• Volume and surface area of Sphere, Right Circular Cylinder, Right Circular Cone

D. STATISTICS:

• Collection of data, Classification of data, Frequency, Frequency distribution

• Tabulation, Cumulative Frequency

• Data Representation (Bar diagram, Pie chart, Histogram, Frequency Polygon, Ogives)

• Measures of Central Tendency: Mean, Median, Mode

4. LANGUAGE

A. GENERAL HINDI:

• हिंदी व्याकरण: वर्ण विचार, शब्द विचार, वाक्य विचार, अर्थ, पर्यायवाची शब्द, विलोम शब्द, समास, लिंग, वचन, संधि, उपसर्ग एवं प्रत्यय, लोकोक्तियाँ और मुहावरे

• अशुद्ध वाक्यों को शुद्ध करना

• वाक्यों का परिवर्तन (वाच्य, काल, वाक्य रूपांतरण)
