Essential Qualifications for JRF at Regional Centre for Biotechnology

MSc/ MTech in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/ Molecular Biology/ Biochemistry/ Bioinformatics/ Genomics/ Pharmacy or any other related subject and National level JRF eligibility test qualified such as NET, GATE etc. qualified.

Desirable Qualifications for JRF at Regional Centre for Biotechnology

Candidate should have experience in protein isolation, purification, molecular biology, biochemistry, Confocal microscopy, FISH, gene editing techniques, plant tissue culture, translation assays. A candidate with one year of research experience in a relevant area with expertise will be preferred. The candidate should be motivated, enthusiastic, hardworking, a team player and have good interpersonal skills.

Fellowship for JRF at Regional Centre for Biotechnology

Rs. 37,000/- + 27% HRA per month.

Title of Project for JRF at Regional Centre for Biotechnology

Studying the ribosomal RNA (rRNA) diversity, functional relevance of rRNA processing factor 2 (RPF2) in ribosome biogenesis, root, shoot development and drought stress tolerance in rice.

Age Limit for JRF at Regional Centre for Biotechnology

Below 35 years

Duration for JRF at Regional Centre for Biotechnology

Initially for One year and can be extended on an annual basis.
