Short Information
Station Headquarters (ECHS Cell) Kolkata has released an employment notice for the recruitment of Medical, Para-Medical, and Non-Medical staff on a contractual basis. These vacancies are for 4 x ECHS Polyclinics: Kolkata, Salt Lake, Howrah, and Baruipur. This is an excellent opportunity for B.Pharm and D.Pharm students to work under the Ministry of Defence. The initial contract is for 1 year, renewable based on performance.

In-Depth Eligibility Criteria for Pharmacists
Specific Requirements for Pharmacy Candidates
  • Education: Must possess a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institute OR 10+2 with Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm).
  • Registration: Candidates must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
  • Experience: A minimum of 03 years of work experience is mandatory.
  • Age Limit: For Pharmacy/Para-medical staff, the candidate should not have completed 56 years as of 01 April 2026.
  • Reservation: 70% of seats are reserved for Ex-Servicemen (ESM). However, Civilian candidates are eligible to apply and will be selected if ESM are not available.

  • Prepare Documents: Attach Self-Attested photocopies of:
    • Educational Certificates (10th, 12th, B.Pharm/D.Pharm).
    • Registration Certificate (Pharmacy Council).
    • Work Experience Certificates.
    • Aadhar Card & PAN Card.
    • Discharge Book/PPO (For ESM candidates).
  • Submission: Submit the application in DUPLICATE to the OIC Station Cell (ECHS) Kolkata by 18th Feb 2026 (1800 hrs).
