Short Information: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has released Advertisement Notification No. 01 of 2026 for recruitment to 239 UT Cadre posts within the Health and Medical Education Department. This recruitment includes significant opportunities for B.Pharmacy, D.Pharmacy, and Nursing students. Detailed Qualification for Pharmacy & Allied Posts

| Junior Pharmacist | Must possess Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a Government recognized institution. Candidates must ensure they have the certificate on or before the cut-off date. |
| Assistant Cook G-II | 10+2 with 1.5 years Diploma in Food Production and 2 years experience in a registered Hotel/Hospital. |
| Physiotherapist Posts | Degree in Physiotherapy OR Diploma in Physiotherapy with 2 years experience. Must be registered with Rehabilitation Council of India. |
| Technicians | Specific B.Sc degrees in Medical Technology, Radiation Technology, or Theatre Technology depending on the item number. |
Selection Process & Exam Pattern
- Selection Basis: Merit obtained in the Written/OMR based examination only.
- Question Type: Objective Type, Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Language: English only.
- Negative Marking: 0.25 (one-fourth) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- Syllabus: Will be notified separately on the JKSSB official website.

- Candidates must possess a Valid Domicile Certificate of UT of J&K.
