The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) invites online applications from eligible candidates for the post of Lecturer (Pharmacy) in a government institution in Uttar Pradesh. This is a Direct Recruitment opportunity.

Application Fee:

• General / OBC / EWS: INR 105/- (Application fee INR 80/- + Online processing fee INR 25/-)

• SC / ST: INR 65/- (Application fee INR 40/- + Online processing fee INR 25/-)

• PH Candidates (Disabled Category): INR 25/- (Application fee NIL/- + Online processing fee INR 25/-)

• Ex-Servicemen: INR 65/- (Application fee INR 40/- + Online processing fee INR 25/-)

• Dependents of Freedom Fighters / Women / Skilled Player: According to their original category

The examination fee can be paid through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or Pay Offline Through E Challan. The application will be accepted only after the payment of the fee by the last date.

How to Apply:

• Applications must be submitted online through the official websites: https://uppsc.up.nic.in and https://otr.pariksha.nic.in. Applications sent through any other medium will not be accepted.

• One Time Registration (OTR) is mandatory for applying against any post published by the Commission. Candidates who have not obtained their OTR number must do so from the Commission’s website at least 72 hours before the submission of the online application. The OTR number is the only registration number for submitting the application form.

• The online application process will be completed in four stages:

  • First Stage: Candidate Registration/Authentication with OTR. Fill in essential qualification details.

  • Second Stage: Filling the application form with permanent and correspondence address (auto-filled from OTR) and choosing Yes/No for preferential qualifications.

  • Third Stage: Fee Payment through online modes (NET BANKING, CARD PAYMENTS, OTHER PAYMENT MODES). After successful payment, a Payment Transaction Slip will be generated, which must be printed and kept safe.

  • Fourth Stage: Viewing and taking a printout of the submitted application form. This printout must be kept safe and produced if required by the Commission.

• Candidates are advised to carefully read the User Instructions and View Advertisement available on the website before applying.

• After completing the online application, candidates must send self-attested photocopies of all their academic/required documents supporting their claims in the online form, along with the printout of the online form, to the office of the Commission.

• Candidates must download and take a printout of the autofilled address-slip from the ‘Candidate Dashboard (O.T.R. Based)’ on the Commission’s website and paste it on the A-4 size envelope containing the application and documents. If applying for more than one post, a separate envelope must be used for each post. Failure to paste the autofilled address slip may lead to cancellation of candidature.

• Candidates are responsible for the online submission of the application.

• Keep a soft/hard copy of the information regarding all stages of the application process (OTR, Fee payment, Final submission, Qualification related modification/Error correction etc.) for future reference.

Selection Process:

• The Commission may hold a screening test (Objective Type) in case of a large number of applicants, which will be communicated in due course.

• There will be a penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers in the screening test. For each wrong answer, one-third (0.33) of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted. If more than one answer is given, it will be treated as a wrong answer with the same penalty. There will be no penalty for questions left blank.

• The minimum educational qualification is not sufficient for being called for an interview. Mere eligibility does not entitle a candidate to be called for an interview or for selection.

• Intimation for the interview will be sent later.

• Original certificates will be required for verification at the time of the interview. Candidates will also need to submit a passport-size photograph attested by the head of the department/institution of their last education or by a Gazetted Officer.

• Candidates serving under Central or State Government must produce a “NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE” from their employer at the time of the interview.

Important Instructions for Candidates:

• Knowledge of Hindi in Devnagri script is essential.

• Candidates must mention their category/sub-category in the relevant column of the OTR if they want to claim the benefit of reservation, as all personal information will be automatically displayed in the application form from the OTR.

• Only the Higher Secondary/High School Certificate will be considered valid for proof of age.

• Candidates claiming age relaxation must submit the relevant certificates in the prescribed format when asked for by the Commission.

• Candidates seeking reservation benefits must obtain a certificate from the competent authority in the prescribed format and submit it to the Commission when required. Candidates claiming concessions under more than one reserved category will be given only one benefit, whichever is more advantageous. Candidates not originally domiciled in Uttar Pradesh belonging to reserved categories will not be entitled to the benefit of reservation.

• If any changes are to be made in the personal details mentioned in the OTR, it is mandatory to synchronise them on the Dashboard after the change. Otherwise, the change will not be allowed. No online/offline representation will be accepted for error correction/amendment in this regard.

• Incomplete online application forms will be rejected, and no correspondence will be entertained.

• If any information provided in the application is found to be false or misrepresented, the candidature will be rejected, and the candidate may be debarred from future selections/examinations of the Commission. Providing wrong information that cannot be substantiated may lead to debarment for up to five years.

• The decision of the Commission regarding the eligibility of candidates will be final.

• The Commission reserves the right to cancel the candidature of any candidate found indulging in malpractice. The Uttar Pradesh Examination (Prevention of unfair Means) Act-2024 will be applicable in the selection process.

• Candidates can resolve any problems faced during online application by sending their queries to the ‘Mail Box’ of the Commission.

• Candidates are advised to take a printout of the Declaration page after agreeing to its contents during the online application process.

• The online application process must be completed in all aspects (filling OTR, Part-I, Part-II, and Part-III of the Form) before the last date of form submission, after which the web-link will be disabled.
