Position: Medical Writer
Education: Ph.D./PharmD, M. Pharm or any other Medical degree: MMBS/MD/BAMS/BHMS with 2-3 + years of relevant work experience
Experience: 3+ years
Position Requirements:
1. Experience with medical writing with a focus on healthcare professionals or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
2. Experience writing for the digital environment.
3. Ability to analyse complex data and interpret it for mobile/web application while maintaining a clinical tone
4. Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both oral and written
5. Independent and innovative self-starter
6. Strong organizational skills
7. Meticulous attention to detail
8. Ability to quickly distil complex information into essential elements relevant to clinicians at the point of care
9. Excellent medical literature retrieval and evaluation skills
10. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced setting
11. Proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
12. Basic understanding of various handheld technologies
Role & Responsibilities:
1. To write content for healthcare professionals such as clinical summaries medical news, quizzes, bringing them the latest updates from various sources like clinical research publications/professional medical practice/regulatory authority/medical conferences.
2. Should be familiar with use of databases like Pubmed, Ovid, Medical conference sites.
3. Responsible for all content-related aspects of each assigned project from initiation to launch, including conception, writing, revising, annotating per source references, and performing QA checks.
4. Copy must be accurate, clean, well-organized, and adhere to WebMD technical specifications.
5. Must have knowledge of Medical information
6. Project and Workload Management: Must be able to handle multiple projects concurrently, maintain highest quality, and meet copy deadlines.
7. Must be able to interact effectively with internal teams (i.e., editorial, and production) to ensure quality and smooth progression of projects.
8. Curating content in proprietary format.
