Job Role & Responsibilities

As a Pharmacist under the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK), the selected candidate will be responsible for:

1. Dispensing Medications:

   • Accurately dispensing prescriptions as per medical orders.
   • Ensuring the correct dosage and administration instructions for each patient.

2. Inventory Management:

   • Managing the inventory of medicines and medical supplies.
   • Ensuring that the stock levels are maintained and that there are no shortages of essential drugs.

3. Patient Counseling:

   • Providing necessary information and advice to patients regarding their medication regimen.
   • Educating patients on potential side effects and the importance of adhering to prescribed treatments.

4. Compliance & Documentation:

   • Maintaining accurate records of all dispensed medications.
   • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines set by the health department.

5. Collaboration:

   • Working closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
   • Participating in health camps and outreach programs as part of the RBSK initiative.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

• Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) or Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
• Valid registration with the Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council.

Age Limit:

• Maximum Age: 43 years as of the date of application.
• Age relaxations are applicable as per government norms.

Experience:

• Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Fresh graduates with the required qualifications are also eligible to apply.

Salary & Benefits

• Monthly Salary: ₹17,000/-
• This position is contractual and based on a fixed remuneration structure.
• The contract may be renewed annually based on performance and the continuation of the NHM program.

Selection Process
