Selection Process for Pharmacist
Stage | Description |
---|---|
Stage I – Screening Test | A Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). Part-A (30 questions) will cover General English, Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, and General Science. Part-B (30 questions) will be post-specific (Pharmacy). The test duration will be 75 minutes, with 1/4th negative marking for wrong answers. A minimum of 18 marks (30%) is required to qualify. |
Stage II – Skill Test | This will be a qualifying test designed to assess the practical knowledge of Pharmacy and Computer Proficiency. Candidates must achieve a minimum of 30% marks to qualify. |
Stage III – Final Test | A Computer Based Test (CBT) comprising 60 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) based on the post-specific (Pharmacy) syllabus. The test duration will be 75 minutes, with 1/4th negative marking for wrong answers. The total marks obtained in this stage will determine the final merit for selection. A minimum of 18 marks (30%) is required to qualify. |
Document Verification | Candidates must produce original documents to verify their eligibility before appearing in Stage III. |
Merit List | The final merit list will be based on the total marks obtained by the candidate in Stage III (Final Test). |
