The National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), Bengaluru, an autonomous body under the Ministry of Ayush, Govt. of India, has released Advertisement No.1/2025 inviting applications from eligible candidates for various posts. Positions are available on Direct Recruitment, Deputation, and Contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates in the pharmacy, medical, and paramedical fields. Essential Qualifications for Key Pharmacy & Paramedical Posts

Nursing Officer (Direct Recruitment)

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) in Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an INC recognized Institute OR Post-basic B.Sc. Nursing.
  • AND Registered as a Nurse & Midwife (RN or RN & RM) with State/Indian Nursing Council.
  • OR Diploma in General Nursing Midwife (GNM) with registration AND Two years’ experience in a minimum 25-bedded hospital.

Medical Lab Technologist (Direct Recruitment)

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science from a recognized university.
  • Two years’ relevant experience in the field.

Pharmacy Assistant

  • Intermediate (12th) or equivalent qualification.
  • One year Unani Pharmacy certificate course OR Three years’ experience working in Unani Pharmacy/Dispensary as Pharmacy Attendant.
  • Knowledge of Computer is required.

Pharmacy Attendant

  • Matriculation (10th) or equivalent examination.
  • Three years’ experience in dispensing medicine in a reputed Institution.
  • Knowledge of Hindi/Urdu.

How to Apply
  • Applications must be submitted in the prescribed format (Annexure-I) via OFFLINE mode only.
  • Download the application form from the official NIUM website: www.nium.in.
  • Fill out the application form completely and attach self-attested photocopies of all required documents (Date of Birth, Caste Certificate, Educational qualifications, Experience certificates, etc.).
  • The application must be accompanied by the original Demand Draft (DD) for the application fee.
  • Clearly write the “Name of the Post applied for” in Bold letters on the envelope.
  • The completed application form, along with all enclosures and the original DD, must reach the specified address on or before 04/11/2025 by 5:00 PM.
