The Department of Social Security and Development of Women & Children, Punjab, through the Office of District Social Security Officer, Patiala, invites applications for the recruitment of various posts including Clerk, Nursing Assistant, and Teacher. These positions are for the Community Home for Mentally Retarded located in Patiala at Rajpura. Eligibility Criteria & Essential Qualifications

Post Name	Essential Educational Qualification & Experience
Clerk	Graduate from a recognized University. At least 2 years relevant experience. Ability to work on MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet).
Nursing Assistant	D-Pharmacy from a recognized institute. At least 2 years experience in the relevant field.
Teacher	Graduation with 55% marks. B.Ed in special education or any other equivalent professional training in special education on a regular basis (not by correspondence). At least Two years experience of teaching in the respective field.

How to Apply: Applications must be submitted on the prescribed application format. Submit the complete application form by hand or via registered post. The application must reach the office of the District Social Security Officer, Patiala, Room No. 101 & 135, Block-A, District Administrative Complex, Patiala, by 30-09-2025, 05:00 P.M. Ensure the application is submitted well before the deadline; the department will not be responsible for any postal delay.
Mandatory Documents to Attach (Self-attested copies): Punjabi Pass certificate at the Metric level. All educational qualification certificates. Experience certificate(s), which must be on the letterhead of a Government Department or Registered Institution, clearly indicating dispatch number and date. One copy of a recent stamp-size photograph, duly attested, must be pasted on the application form.
Important Notes: Eligibility Conditions: Candidates must ensure they fulfill all eligibility conditions by the last date of application (30-09-2025). Experience Calculation: Experience will only be considered after the candidate has acquired the essential educational qualifications. Interview Shortlisting: Mere possession of minimum qualifications does not guarantee an interview call. If a large number of applications are received, the Selection Committee may restrict the number of candidates for interviews based on higher qualifications and experience. False Information: If any information furnished by the candidate is found to be false or incorrect at any stage (before or after interview/appointment), their candidature will be immediately cancelled. Application Rejection: Applications will be summarily rejected if they are unsigned, incomplete, received after the closing date, or if the candidate does not possess the requisite academic qualifications or experience by the cut-off date.
