Nature of Post |
Initial appointment will be for 1 year, which is extendable up to 3 years based on performance. The position is temporary and co-terminus with the project. |

Minimum Qualification |
The candidate must have M.Sc. in Chemistry or M.Pharm/MS(Pharm) in Medicinal/Pharmaceutical/Process Chemistry or relevant degree with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent. Valid NET/GATE/GPAT or other equivalent National Eligibility Test score is necessary. |

Desirable Qualifications |
The candidate should have experience in organic synthesis, especially in asymmetric synthesis and multistep synthesis. Candidate must have experience in modern characterization techniques including chromatography, spectroscopy (UV, IR, NMR, HRMS etc.). Preference will be given to the candidates having experience in multistep synthesis, in silico docking and publication record in peer-reviewed journals. Previous experience in industry would be added advantage. |

All professionally qualified and eligible candidates are encouraged to apply for the position as specified above and shortlisted candidate shall be called for the interview in front of the constituted committee. Interview will be conducted through Physical/Online mode. The date of interview shall be conveyed via email to the eligible candidates. No separate call letter will be issued.
