Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh has released the recruitment notification (Advt No. PGI/RC/050/2025/2455) for various Group ‘A’, ‘B’ & ‘C’ posts.

PGIMER is inviting online applications for 55 Posts including Pharmacist Grade-II, Blood Transfusion Officer, Laboratory Attendant, and others. Candidates holding D.Pharm / B.Pharm qualifications are eligible to apply for the Pharmacist post. Interested candidates must apply online between 01.01.2026 to 16.02.2026.

  • Matriculation or equivalent.
  • Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized Institution.
  • Registered Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Desirable:
  • Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm).
  • Experience in dispensing/storage of drugs in a reputed hospital.
Blood Transfusion Officer 18 – 35 Years Level-11
(Rs. 67700 – 208700)
  • Recognized Medical Qualification (MBBS) included in I or II Schedule of MCI Act.
  • 5 Years Experience in Blood Bank work after registration as Medical Graduate.
Laboratory Attendant Gr-II 18 – 30 Years Level-2
(Rs. 19900 – 63200)		 Essential:
  • 10th class pass (with Science as one subject).
Desirable:
  • Experience in Medical Laboratory.
Store Keeper 18 – 30 Years Level-6
(Rs. 35400 – 112400)
  • Bachelor degree in Maths/Economics/Commerce/Statistics.
  • MBA/Postgraduate in Maths/Commerce/Finance with at least 50% marks.

Age Relaxation:

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

Method of Selection
Computer Based Test (CBT)
  • Language: English Only.
  • Group ‘B’ & ‘C’ (Pharmacist): 100 MCQs | 100 Marks | 100 Minutes.
  • Group ‘A’: 85 MCQs (85 Marks) + Interview (15 Marks).
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Qualifying Marks General/EWS: 40% | SC/ST/OBC: 35%.
Exam Centres (Tentative) Amritsar, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Chandigarh/Mohali, Dehradun, Delhi/NCR, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Jammu, Kolkata, Lucknow, Patna, Shimla.

  4. Fill in the application form carefully (Name, DOB, Qualification).

  6. Pay the application fee via Online Mode.
  7. Submit the form and take a printout for future reference.
  8. Note: OBC candidates must ensure their certificate is valid from 01.04.2025 to 16.02.2026.
