ECHS (Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme) is seeking applications for Pharmacist Staff positions on a contractual basis ECHS Cell Stn HQ, Chennai. This opportunity offers a one-year/11-month term, renewable based on performance and other conditions, until the candidate reaches the maximum age limit.

Last date of receipt of application as per format given at our website. Application as per requisite format along with self attested photocopies of testimonials in support of Educational Qualifications & Work Experience will be submitted to Stn HQ ECHS, Fort Saint George, Chennai – 600009 on or before 26 March 2024 duly mentioning “Application for the post of……….” on the top of envelop. Any application received after 26 March 2024 will not be accepted.

Interview Date, Timing & Venue. Time, mode and venue for the interview will be informed later through email/call letter. Candidates must bring all the original educational certificates/marks sheer /PG/Diploma course and discharge book, PPO, Service records and copy of Aadhar Card for Non Medical Staff at time et interview. No TA/DA is admissible. Only candidates meeting the qualitative requirements may apply.

General instructions
(a) List of Supporting Documents
• Pension Payment Order (PPO).
• Discharge Book.
• Ex-Serviceman Identity Card.
• AaadharCard & PAN Card.
• Educational certificate/Mark Sheet of10th, 12th, Diploma, Graduation, Post Graduation.
• Valid Registration certificate including renewals for the current year (For Medical and Para Medical Candidate Only)
• Computers course certificate
• Experience Certificates.
• MEDICAL FITNESS CERT DULY SIGNED BY
(aa)For ESM: Medical officer of dependent Polyclinic and countersigned by OIC ECHS Polyclinic.
(ab) For others: Chief Medical Officer of Govt Hospital only.
• No objection certificate from the current employer(lf applicable)
(b) Candidates earlier employed In ECHS but whose services were terminated or who had resign echs are blacklisted need not apply. These applications will be rejected.
(c) Only those candidates meeting eligibility criteria and completed application form shortlisted by the Board of Officers will be considered for interview. Computer Qualified Candidates will be given preference. The eligible candidate will be informed the date and time of the interview through email /SMS and list will also be displayed on the Notice Board. An objective type written test on the relevant subject and practical tests as applicable will be conducted before interview.
(d) No separate interview call letter will be sent.
(e) Candidates will bring all original documents as applicable at the time of interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview.
(f) Employment of all individuals will be at the discretion of the appointing auth. Change in terms and condition of employment arising out of unforeseen circumstances, at any stage of employment, without any prejudice would be without compensation at the discretion of the appointing auth.
(g) Changes to this NOTICE if any, will be posted on ECHS web site only.
(h) Those who have worked in any Empanelled Hospital will have clear gap of one year from the date when appointment is relinquished in an Empanelled Hospital and the date when they join any ECHS establishment.
(j) Anybody found using unfair means or creating a ruckus at the time of the interview will be severely dealt with as per Code of Criminal Procedure Act 1973 on the subject.
