Pharmacist Vacancy in Nandurbar District under NHM (National Health Mission)

Recruitment Process

The recruitment for Pharmacist vacancies will follow a structured process, with important dates and procedures outlined below. Candidates are expected to adhere to all guidelines to ensure their eligibility and selection for the available posts.

Important Dates

  • Direct Interview (for certain posts): September 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the District Hospital, Nandurbar. Candidates must carry all original academic and experience documents along with scanned copies.

  • Application Submission Deadline: For pharmacist positions, candidates must submit their application either by post or in person to the Women’s and Child Hospital, Nandurbar, or the District Hospital by September 10, 2024, no later than 5:00 PM.


How to Apply

Candidates interested in applying for the Pharmacist vacancy under NHM must follow the application process outlined below. All necessary documents must be submitted within the stipulated time to avoid disqualification.

  1. Application Form: Candidates must submit their application in the prescribed format. The form can be found on the official NHM website or downloaded through this link.

  2. Required Documents: Candidates must attach the following documents along with the application form:

    • Proof of educational qualifications (Diploma/Degree certificate)
    • All year-wise mark sheets
    • Valid registration certificate from the Pharmacy Council of India or Maharashtra Pharmacy Council
    • Experience certificate (if any)
    • Proof of cost (demand draft or fee receipt)
    • Caste certificate (if applying from a reserved category)

    Note: All documents must be self-attested, and failure to provide any of the required documents will result in disqualification.

  3. Demand Draft for Application Fee:

    • Open Category: ₹150/-
    • Reserved Category: ₹100/-

    The fee must be paid through a demand draft payable to “District Integrated Health & Family Welfare Society, Nandurbar.”

  4. Submission Methods:

    • By Post: Candidates can mail their application to the Women and Child Hospital or the District Hospital in Nandurbar.
    • In-Person Submission: Candidates may also submit their application in person at the same locations.

Eligibility Criteria

To ensure that the recruitment process is fair and transparent, candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria for the Pharmacist post.

Educational Qualifications:

  • D. Pharm or B. Pharm: Candidates must possess either a diploma (D.Pharm) or a degree (B.Pharm) in pharmacy from a recognized university.
  • Council Registration: A valid registration certificate from the Pharmacy Council of India or Maharashtra Pharmacy Council is mandatory.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age:
    • Open Category: 38 years
    • Reserved Category: 43 years

The age limits are as per the Government Decision dated April 25, 2016, issued by the General Administration Department.

For candidates applying for posts like Pharmacist, Nurses, Technicians, and other patient care-related roles, the maximum service entry age is 65 years. For specialists or medical officers, the bio-limit is 70 years. For in-service candidates, a physical fitness certificate is mandatory, and a new fitness certificate will be required every year after the age of 60 for re-appointment.

Other Requirements:

  • Health and Fitness: The candidate must be physically and mentally fit for the post.
  • No Criminal Record: There should be no criminal charges filed against the applicant.
  • Small Family Norm: As per the rule implemented from July 23, 2020, candidates having more than two children born after this date are ineligible for the recruitment process.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Contractual Nature of Employment: All posts under the National Health Mission (NHM) in Nandurbar are contractual and not permanent government positions. The contracts will be for a period of eleven months and 29 days, subject to performance appraisal or approval by the concerned authorities.

  2. Termination of Service: If the position is discontinued or not approved by the Central or State Government, services may be terminated immediately without prior notice.

  3. No Transfer Requests: Candidates cannot request a change in location during their contract period.

  4. Incomplete Applications: Applications missing any required documents or information will be automatically rejected, and no further opportunity will be given to resubmit the documents.

  5. Remuneration: The remuneration mentioned in the job posting is consolidated, and no other allowances or benefits will be provided.

  6. Caste Certificate: Candidates from reserved categories must provide a valid caste certificate. If the caste certificate is not submitted, the candidate will not be considered for reserved category benefits and will be treated as a general candidate.

  7. Reserved Category Guidelines: If no eligible candidates from the reserved categories apply, candidates from other categories may be considered based on merit.


Direct Interview Process for Specialist Cadre (Post Nos. 1 to 10)

For candidates applying for Specialist posts under the NHM, a direct interview will be held on September 12, 2024, at 10:00 AM at the District Hospital in Nandurbar. Candidates must bring their original academic and experience documents, as well as a scanned copy for submission. Please note that the direct interview process is only for Specialist Cadre posts, and it will be conducted weekly on Tuesdays.
