Job Vacancy Announcement: Pharmacist – NUHM

Position Details

Post Title: Pharmacist – NUHM
Number of Positions: 01 (BC1 Category)
Contract Duration: 1 Year (extendable based on performance)
Salary: ₹10,450 per month

Essential Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Educational Qualification:

   • Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institute. The diploma must be obtained from an institution that is accredited and meets the standards set by relevant educational authorities.

2. Registration:

   • Candidates must be registered under the Jharkhand State Pharmacy Council. This registration ensures that the candidate is recognized as a qualified pharmacist in the state of Jharkhand.

3. Computer Proficiency:

   • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet usage is mandatory. This includes the ability to use standard office software and perform online tasks as required.

Selection Conditions

1. Contractual Nature of Employment:

   • The selected candidate will be appointed on a contractual basis with an initial term of one year. The contract may be renewed annually based on performance evaluations and the needs of the NHM.

2. Contract Termination:

   • The contract can be terminated by either party with one month’s notice or one month’s advance honorarium.

3. District-Level Reservation:

   • The recruitment will adhere to district-level reservation policies as per the roster system.

4. Educational Qualification Documentation:

   • Candidates who possess a CGPA-based educational qualification must submit a CGPA conversion chart along with their mark sheets. This is necessary to ensure that the educational qualifications are equivalent to the percentage-based criteria.

5. Application Requirements:

   • Applicants need to apply separately for each post if they are interested in multiple positions.
   • The selection committee will shortlist candidates based on the advertised eligibility criteria and qualifications.

6. Selection Process:

   • The selection process may include evaluation of academic and technical examination marks, a written test, a skill test, and/or an interview. The selection committee reserves the right to decide on the exact process based on the number of applications and other relevant factors.

7. Resolution and Decision:

   • The Resolution No. 821 dated 05/02/2021 of Personnel, Administrative Reforms, and Official Language will be applicable for the selection process.
   • The decision of the District Health Committee regarding the appointment process will be final and binding.

8. Amendments:

   • The Committee reserves the right to amend the terms of the advertisement as per the requirements.

9. Correspondence:

   • Personal correspondence or contact regarding the appointment will not be entertained.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be based on the following criteria:

1. Academic and Technical Examination Marks:

   • Evaluation of the marks obtained in relevant academic and technical examinations will be part of the selection process.

2. Written Test / Skill Test / Interview:

   • Depending on the number of candidates and the requirements, a written test, skill test, and/or interview may be conducted.

3. Final Merit List:

   • The final merit list of selected candidates will be published at the Civil Surgeon / Deputy Commissioner’s office and will be displayed for one week. Additionally, information regarding the publication of the merit list will be provided through the newspaper.

1. Submission Deadline:

   • Applications must be submitted by 18.09.2024. The submission must be made before 05:00 PM on this date.

2. Application Form:

   • Candidates must use the prescribed application form, which can be obtained from the National Health Mission, Koderma office or its official website.

3. Documents Required:

   • Attested copies of:
     • Mark sheets and certificates related to educational qualifications.
     • Residential certificate issued by the competent authority (for claiming reservation).
     • Caste certificate.
     • Matriculation certificate (for proof of date of birth).
     • Two self-attested passport size photographs.
   • Demand Draft:
     • For General Category / Backward Class / Extremely Backward Class candidates: ₹400 per post.
     • For Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe candidates: ₹200 per post.
     • The demand draft should be payable to the District Health Society, Koderma.

4. Submission Method:

   • Applications must be sent by registered post or speed post only. They should be addressed to:

5. Envelope Details:
