Job Overview:

District Health Society, Mahesana, invites qualified candidates to apply for the contractual post of Pharmacist. The selected candidates will be responsible for supporting healthcare services at the district level as part of UPHC, PHC, and RBSK initiatives, ensuring efficient pharmaceutical care within the public health framework.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense prescribed medications and counsel patients on proper medication usage, dosages, and possible side effects.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of dispensed drugs, stock, and inventory.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure effective and safe patient care.
• Participate in public health initiatives and outreach activities as part of UPHC, PHC, and RBSK programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Educational Qualification:

   • Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
   • The qualification should be recognized by the government, ensuring adherence to national health standards.

2. Registration Requirement:

   • Candidates must have active registration with the Gujarat Pharmacy Council.
   • This is mandatory for eligibility as it certifies the candidate’s qualification and professional standing.

3. Computer Proficiency:

   • Basic knowledge of computers is required as the role involves digital record-keeping and data management.

4. Age Limit:

   • Maximum Age: 40 years.
   • Candidates from reserved categories may be eligible for age relaxation as per government guidelines.

Remuneration:

• Monthly Salary: ₹16,000 (fixed pay).
• This position offers a fixed monthly salary with no additional allowances or benefits.
