Rajasthan Pharmacist Recruitment Update 2025: Proposal for 8,500+ New Posts to Meet Pharmacy Act Standards

According to recent health department reports from Rajasthan, there is a massive requirement for 8,500+ Pharmacists to effectively manage the Free Medicine Scheme (Nishulk Dawa Yojana). While the medicine budget has increased 13 times and beneficiaries have grown 5 times over the last 15 years, the number of regular pharmacists has not kept pace. The Rajasthan Pharmacist Employee Association (Integrated) has urged the government to create new positions for Superintendent Pharmacists, Grade-I, and regular Pharmacists to ensure patient safety and legal compliance with the Pharmacy Act.
