Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (as on 08.09.2025)
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications:
  • 10+2 in Science or its equivalent, with a Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized institution and must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
  • OR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a recognized University or equivalent and must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Note: Candidates awaiting final results of the prescribed qualifications are NOT eligible to apply.
Age Limit (as on 01.01.2026)
Age Group 20 to 35 years
Permissible Upper Age Relaxation
  • SC/ST Candidates: 5 Years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: 3 Years
  • PwBD (UR): 10 Years
  • PwBD (OBC): 13 Years
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 Years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per government norms.

Recruitment Process & Exam Pattern

The recruitment process will consist of a Single Stage Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination.

  • Arithmetic: Number systems, BODMAS, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportion, Percentages, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Interest, Profit and Loss, Algebra, Geometry, etc.
  • General Intelligence and Reasoning: Analogies, Series, Coding-Decoding, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation etc.
  • General Science: Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences (up to 10th Standard CBSE syllabus).
How to Apply
  • Candidates must apply ONLINE ONLY through the official RRB application portal.
  • Before applying, candidates must first ‘Create an Account’ on the RRB portal if they haven’t already. A valid mobile number and email ID are mandatory for OTP verification.
  • Carefully fill in all the required details. Details filled in the ‘Create an Account’ form cannot be modified later.
  • During the application, a live photograph of the candidate will be captured via webcam or front camera. Pre-uploaded photos are not allowed.
  • Upload a scanned copy of your signature and SC/ST certificate (if applicable for travel pass) as per the specified format.
  • Choose your RRB and set your preferences for Railway Zones and posts.
  • Proceed to pay the application fee through the online payment gateway.
  • After successful payment, review the application and submit it. Keep a printout of the final application for future reference.
