Educational Qualifications and Experience

Essential Qualifications:

1. Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm): Candidates must possess a two-year full-time Diploma in Pharmacy.
2. Valid Registration: Applicants must have valid registration with the Kerala State Pharmacy Council.

Desirable Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of Malayalam: While not mandatory, having adequate knowledge of Malayalam is considered an advantage.
2. Experience: A minimum of one year of experience as a Pharmacist in an Industrial, Government, or Private Hospital is preferred.

Contract Details

• Contract Duration: The contract is temporary and is valid for a maximum period of three years, subject to project requirements and individual performance.

Remuneration

The remuneration for the Pharmacist position is structured as follows:

Age Limit

• The upper age limit for applicants is 56 years as of 24 September 2024. Candidates must be born on or after 25 September 1968.

Selection Process

The selection process will include:

1. Objective Type Written Test: This test will be of 35 minutes duration and consist of 30 multiple-choice questions. The test will cover:
   • General Knowledge (10 Marks)
   • Discipline-Related Topics (20 Marks)
2. Descriptive Type Written Test: This will be of 45 minutes duration and will focus on discipline-related questions (20 Marks).

Minimum Passing Marks:

• Candidates must secure at least 50% in each type of test.

Shortlisting and Certificate Verification

1. Shortlisting: Based on the online applications, CSL reserves the right to shortlist candidates who meet the eligibility criteria. Only shortlisted candidates will be allowed to participate in the selection process.
2. Certificate Verification: Candidates must produce original certificates for verification at the time of the selection process. Failure to produce the necessary documents will result in disqualification.

Conditions and Eligibility

1. Reservation: Government of India directives on reservation will apply. Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) must provide a valid disability certificate.
2. Qualification: The minimum qualification must be from a recognized University/Institute.
3. Experience: Experience is considered only if acquired post the qualification date. Proof of experience must be provided.

• Exemption: SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempt from paying the application fee.
