Job Description

As a Pharmacist at HBCH&RC, your role will involve:

• Dispensing Medications: Accurately dispensing medications as per prescriptions from healthcare providers.
• Medication Management: Managing and maintaining medication inventories and ensuring the availability of necessary drugs.
• Patient Interaction: Providing medication-related information to patients and their families, including instructions on proper use and potential side effects.
• Compliance: Ensuring compliance with hospital policies, regulatory requirements, and safety protocols.
• Computerized Systems: Working with computerized systems for medication management and documentation.
• Shift Duties: Being prepared to work in shifts, including night shifts, as required by the hospital’s operational needs.

Essential Qualifications

• Educational Requirements:
  • B. Pharma with a minimum of 1-year experience
  • OR
  • D. Pharma with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a dispensary or pharmacy of a hospital with a minimum of 200 beds.
• Registration: Registration with the State Pharmacy Council with a duly allotted Registration Number is mandatory.
• Experience:
  • Experience working in a computerized system is desirable.
  • Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
