Position: Junior Drug Safety Associate
Essential Qualifications and Skills
Qualifications: Bachelor of Pharmacy/BSc/Master of Pharmacy
Experience: 0 to 1 year
Skills: Detail-oriented, commitment to quality, ability to work well in a team, quick learner, strong English language proficiency, good communication skills, analytical ability, knowledge of medical terminology including MedDRA and WHO-Drug, good medical writing skills.
Responsibilities of a Junior Drug Safety Associate
As a part of Accenture’s Life Sciences R&D vertical, your role will encompass a range of responsibilities, including:
1. Evaluation and processing of Adverse Events in the Global Safety Database.
2. Ensuring accurate data entry, coding, and processing from source documents.
3. Assessing the seriousness, causality, and expectedness of adverse event reports.
4. Collaborating with Medical Reviewers to address potential safety issues.
5. Participating in audits and inspections.
6. Authoring process documents and providing training and mentoring to new associates.
