Job Overview: IISER Mohali is inviting applications from dedicated and qualified candidates for the position of Pharmacist on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities:

• Pharmaceutical Care: Provide professional pharmaceutical care to patients, including medication management, patient counseling, and drug information services.
• Medication Management: Oversee the preparation, dispensing, and documentation of medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
• Inventory Control: Manage pharmaceutical inventory, including procurement, storage, and stock control. Ensure that the pharmacy adheres to quality standards and safety protocols.
• Patient Interaction: Offer guidance and advice to patients regarding their medications, including potential side effects and interactions. Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to ensure optimal patient care and treatment outcomes.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prescriptions, medication administration, and patient interactions.
• Compliance: Ensure adherence to institutional policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices in pharmacy practice.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma) from a recognized university or institution.

Experience:

• Essential: At least 2 years of relevant experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting.

Age Limit:

• Maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years as of the last date of application.

Desirable Skills:

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in medication dispensing and record-keeping.
• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with pharmacy management software and medical record systems.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address and resolve medication-related issues and patient concerns.
