Requirements –
- Chemicals – Dicalcium phosphate, Calcium carbonate, Glycerin, Gum tragacanth, Dextrose, sodium lauryl sulphate.
- Glassware – Beaker, Stirrer, and Wide-mouth container.
Theory –
They are most popular and widely used preparations for cleaning the teeth. They are more expensive to tooth powder but still they are more preferred. The main ingredients in tooth pastes are abrasive, foaming agents, sweetening agents, flavours, binding agents, humectants, preservation and therapeutic agents.

Procedure
- Initially, mix glycerin and water in a beaker.
- Then, add solid substances in it with stirring.
- Finally, transfer it to the suitable container, label it and submit.
