A walk-in interview for the engagement of Project Staff under various projects will be held at CSIR-CDRI, Lucknow, on June 3, 2024, for positions in Chemical Sciences and Pharma (Position Code No. 001 to 024) and Life Sciences (Position Code No. 025 to 027). Additionally, interviews for positions in Life Sciences and the S&T Management Group (Position Code No. 028 to 053) will be conducted on June 6, 2024, starting from 9:00 am onwards. 1. Project Associate I

   Stipend	(i) Rs. 35,000 + 20% HRA p.m. to Scholars who are selected through (a) National Eligibility Tests-CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or (b) A selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions. (ii) 28,000/-+20% HRA p.m. for others who do not fall under (i) above.

4. Senior Project Associate

   Desirable qualifications	3 years research experience in mouse handling, Histology, RT- PCR, mammalian cell culture
   Stipend	Rs. 42,000/- + 18% HRA p.m.

5. Project Research Scientist-I (Non Medical)

   Essential qualifications	First Class M. Pharm./MS (Pharm)/ Graduate in Life Sciences/ Biology from a recognized University
   Desirable qualifications	Experience in formulation development and pharmaceutical analysis.
   Stipend	Rs. 56000/-p.m. + 18% HRA @ 1080=66,080+ Salary 5% increase in 3rd year.

6. Project Research Scientist-II (Non Medical)

   Stipend	Rs. 67,000/- +Rs. 12060/- (18% HRA) =79060 pm, (5% increment included) 3rd year @70350/- + Rs. 12663/- (9% HRA) = Rs. 83013/- p.m.

7. Research Associate

   Stipend	Rs. 25,000/- p.m. for first 2 years & Rs. 28,000/- p.m. for 3rd year.

10. Research Associate-II

11. Principal Project Associate

    Essential qualifications	Doctoral degree in Science from a recognized university and 4 years’ experience in Research & Desirable qualifications : Development in Industrial & Academic Institutions or S&T organizations.
    Stipend	Rs. 49,000/-p.m. + 18% HRA
    Upper Age limit	40 Years

The eligible candidates may appear before the Selection Committee for interview on the date and time mentioned above at CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, Sector 10, Jankipuram Extension, Sitapur Road, Lucknow-226031. Eligible candidates must bring with them a duly filled application & undertaking (which can be downloaded from our website www.cdri.res.in) with original & self attested copies of mark sheets/certificates etc. along with a recent passport size photograph. Tentative mark sheets/certificates and ‘result awaited’ will not be considered.

General Conditions

1. Age relaxation if any, will be as per Govt. of India/Funding Agency Guidelines.
2. Suitable Candidates may be empaneled for future requirement if any, under different projects.
3. The date for determining age/qualification and experience shall be the date of interview.
4. The above positions are purely temporary and co-terminus with the aforementioned projects. The engagement in these projects will not confer any right implicit or explicit on the candidate for consideration for regularization against any CSIR/CDRI post(s).
5. The number of positions against the various projects/Scheme can vary at the time of selection depending on the requirement of the institute.
6. Position Code will be cancelled if funds are not available in the advertised concerned projects.
7. The Director, CSIR-CDRI has discretion to increase or decrease the number of positions or cancel the recruitment process at any stage.
8. Interim queries will not be entertained.
9. While coming for Walk-In-Interview, candidate(s) are advised to strictly adhere the COVID-19 guidelines.

Note

Candidates who fulfils the requisite qualification and age will be allowed to appear before the Selection Committee for interview. Written test in the subject area will be held, if required, to shortlist candidates for the interview on the same day depending upon the number of candidates. The interview may be continued for the subsequent days also, therefore candidates coming from outstations are requested to make their own arrangements accordingly.
