Key Roles/Responsibilities:

• Plan/ Schedule for Packaging activities across the month over various lines with execution
• Work as a line leader and responsible for smooth running of operation/machines / changeover.
• Ensure no stoppage of operation/machines due to non-availability of manpower and any kind of machine breakdown
• Allocates workers for different workstations on shift-to-shift basis.
• Checks and/or cross-verify line clearance during Batch change over.
• Checks the issued packing material before taking into the production line.
• Supervises the line operations and participates in Qualification/Validation activities as per the protocol.
• Maintains c-GMP practices along with documentation in various records.
• Fills In process parameters in packaging documentation.

• Fills and checks BPR before submission to the superiors.
• Review the documents before submission to QA.
• Handles minor setting issues in various machines and run the machine whenever required.
• Monitors the speed of machine and output according to the run time.
• Maintenances and calibration of various instruments and equipment.
• Develop new operators for operations and machines skill (Impart on job training / class room training).
• Monitors and reports the unauthorized movement of workers from line.
• Takes up the responsibilities of the immediate supervisor for the section in his absence.
• Verifies the balances on daily and monthly basis.
• Checks all the calibration tags of equipment, instruments and fire extinguisher for their due date time to time.
• Knowledge and involvement in SFTI & 5S Activities.

• Knowledge and involvement in ISO 14000 & 13485.
• Any other activity from time to time which his supervisor/company feels appropriate.
• Raise the material requisition note (MRQN) wherever extra quantity of packing material is required.
• Prepare and cross-verify the material return note (MRN) after completion batch/product campaign.
• Prepare the line rejection note (LRN) wherever required.
• Generation of required shipper labels of the product.
• Prepare the BSR transfer and do the necessary entry in SAP system.
