General Conditions:
1. The maximum age limit for appointment by deputation shall not exceed 56 years on the closing date of receipt of application.
2. The terms and conditions of deputation will be governed by the DOP&T’s OM No.6/8/2009-Estt. (Pay II) dated 17.06.2010, as amended from time to time.
3. Application must be sent in the Bio-Data/Curriculum Vitae in the prescribed format (Annexure – I) to the Director, Pasteur Institute of India, Coonoor – 643 103, The Nilgiris (T.N.) The application proforma can be downloaded from the Institute’s website: www.pasteurinstituteindia.com.
4. Applications in the prescribed format, from the officers fulfilling eligibility criteria, duly completed in all respects and supported by all relevant documents along with Cadre clearance (Annexure – II), Vigilance clearance, photocopies of APARs for the last 5 years (each page duly attested by the officers not below the rank of Under Secretary to Govt. of India) and statement giving details of major/minor penalties imposed on the officers, if any, during the last 10 years, may be sent to “The Director, Pasteur Institute of India, Coonoor – 643 103, The Nilgiris (T.N.) through proper channel on or before 01.11.2023. The envelope should be superscribed as “Application for the posts of Assistant Research Officer on deputation basis/foreign service”.
5. The applicants will not be allowed to withdraw their applications at any later stage of the selection process. Application received after the prescribed date or not accompanied by the required certificates / documents will not be entertained.
6. The Departmental Officers in the feeder category who are in direct line of promotion will not be eligible for consideration for appointment on deputation. Similarly, deputationist shall not be eligible for consideration for appointment by promotion.
7. The Officers selected will have the option to draw his/her pay plus deputation (duty) allowance or to have his/her pay fixed in the scale/level of the post is accordance with
DoP&T O.M. No.2/12/87-Estt (Pay II) dated 29.04.1988, as amended from time to time.
8. The applications of the suitable officers who are willing and eligible for the post and who can be spared immediately in the event of selection may only be forwarded by the employer / cadre controlling authority.
9. The last date of receipt of application in the Institute is 01.11.2023.
