BTEUP Lucknow Official Notification: Sessional Exam Schedule 2026 for Pharmacy & Polytechnic Courses

Notification Summary
The Board of Technical Education, Uttar Pradesh (BTEUP), Lucknow has officially released the schedule for the Sessional Examinations (Saitrik Pariksha) for the upcoming Even Semester / Annual / Back Paper / Special Back Paper Examinations, May 2026. This notice is applicable to all Government, Aided, and Private Pharmacy & Polytechnic institutions. All students enrolled in D.Pharm and other technical courses must appear for these exams as per the timeline provided below.
BTEUP Sessional Exam Important Dates 2026
Sessional Exam Category Proposed Time Period / Deadline
First Sessional Exam (प्रथम सैट्रिक) First Week of February 2026
Second Sessional Exam (द्वितीय सैट्रिक) First Week of March 2026
Third Sessional Exam (तृतीय सैट्रिक) First Week of April 2026
Final Main Examination (Theory/Practical) Scheduled for May 2026
Detailed Marking Scheme & Evaluation Criteria
Assessment Criteria Maximum Marks Calculation Logic for Finals
Attendance (उपस्थिति) 20 Marks Based on regular student presence in theory/practical classes.
Sessional Theory Exams (1st, 2nd, 3rd) 50 Marks Each Best of Two: The average of the best two sessional performances is converted into a 30 Mark scale.
Class Work / Assignments 20 Marks
Total Sessional Score 100 Marks (Scale) Final marks are uploaded to the BTEUP portal as per the internal assessment weightage.
Instructions for Colleges & Students
Key Directives from Secretary, BTEUP
  • Mandatory Records: All institutions must maintain Hard Copies and Soft Copies of sessional answer sheets and registers.
  • Availability: Records must be presented to the Board office or higher authorities immediately upon request for verification.
  • Timely Completion: Institutions are requested to ensure all sessional exams are completed within the defined First Week of Feb, March, and April respectively.
  • Portal Updates: Results must be prepared according to the prescribed Proforma (as shown in the notification) for final submission.
