Telecommunications Consultants India Limited (TCIL), a Government of India enterprise, invites applications for the recruitment of qualified candidates for Pharmacist positions on contract. The selected candidates will be deployed at Indira Gandhi Hospital, Dwarka, New Delhi. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacy graduates to contribute their skills to a reputed hospital.

Post: Pharmacist

• Number of Vacancies: 11
  (UR: 6, OBC (NCL): 2, SC: 1, EWS: 1, PwBD: 1)
• Age Limit: 27 years
• Requisite Qualifications:
  i. Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharm) from a recognized university or equivalent
  ii. Must be registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948
  iii. Mandatory: The selected candidate must be registered with the Delhi Pharmacy Council within six months of joining
• Experience: No prior experience required
• Remuneration: Rs. 43,800 per month (Consolidated Basic + DA @ 50%)

Contract Details

1. Contract Period:

   • The contractual engagement will be for a minimum period of 6 months or until the termination of the agreement by the Principal Employer/User Department, whichever is earlier.
   • After selection, candidates are required to sign a detailed contract agreement with TCIL, outlining the terms and conditions.
   • There will be no claim for permanent employment at TCIL or Indira Gandhi Hospital after the contract ends.
   • The contract may be terminated with one month’s notice.

2. Entitlements during the Contract Period:

   • Leave: 1 day of leave per month (12 days annually). A maximum of 3 days of leave can be carried forward; any excess will lapse.
   • Maternity Leave: Female employees will be eligible for maternity benefits as per the Maternity Benefit Act, 1961.
   • Accommodation: No accommodation or HRA will be provided by TCIL or Indira Gandhi Hospital.

3. Working Hours:

   • Pharmacists are expected to work according to the hospital’s schedule, which may include shifts or rostered duties.
   • Absence, late arrivals, or early departures will result in a deduction of wages.
   • Employees may be required to work on Sundays or holidays, for which compensatory leave will be provided.

4. Conduct & Discipline:

   • Hired employees must maintain professional conduct as per the TCIL Conduct, Discipline, and Appeal Rules.
   • They will follow instructions given by authorized officers of Indira Gandhi Hospital.
   • TCIL or IGH reserves the right to terminate employment if performance standards are not met.

Selection Procedure

• Mode of Selection: Candidates will undergo a Skill Test/Interview in Delhi.
• Shortlisting: Only shortlisted candidates, based on educational qualifications and experience, will be contacted for interviews.
• Candidates are required to bring original documents along with two passport-size photographs for verification at the time of the skill test/interview.
• Selection is based on merit, educational qualifications, and interview performance.

2. Application Fee:

   • General/OBC Candidates: Rs. 2,000
   • SC/ST/EWS/PwBD Candidates: No fee required
   • The fee is non-refundable and must be paid via Demand Draft (DD) or online bank transfer before the interview.

3. Required Documents:
   Applicants must upload the following documents while applying online:

   • Recent photograph
   • Aadhaar card
   • Certificate of date of birth (10th board certificate)
   • All educational mark sheets and degree certificates
   • Relevant registration (DNC/PNC or any other council) certificate
   • Self-attested copies of relevant documents
   • A notarized undertaking on Rs. 100/- stamp paper (Annexure-I)

4. Eligibility:

   • Applicants must ensure they meet the prescribed qualifications and age limit as of the advertisement date.
   • OBC candidates from the Creamy Layer will be treated as General Category applicants.
   • Candidates must produce caste or PwBD certificates, wherever applicable.

Additional Guidelines

• Reservation Rules: As per Government of India regulations, reservation for SC/ST, OBC (NCL), and PwBD categories will apply.
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years (additional 3 years for OBC, 5 years for SC/ST)
• Selection Notification: Selected candidates will receive an email notification for their interview.
• Joining Formalities:
  • Selected candidates must join duties within 7 days of receiving the offer letter.
  • Police verification and medical fitness clearance are mandatory after joining.
