Short Information: West Bengal Health & Family Welfare Department Recruitment 2025
The Government of West Bengal, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health, Uttar Dinajpur, invites applications for contractual engagement of various posts under the National Health Mission (NHM) and National AYUSH Mission (NAM). Positions include AYUSH Doctors (Homoeopathy & Ayurveda), Pharmacists (Homoeopathy & Ayurveda), Yoga Professionals, and District Consultant (Public Health). 7 Dental Technician (NOHP) under NHM UR-01 (Total 1)
  • Passed Higher Secondary Examination (10 + 2) from WBCHSE/ its equivalent (10 + 2) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
  • Two Years Diploma Course in Dental Technology from a recognized Institution.
  • Valid registration from West Bengal Dental Council.
  • 01 (One) year experience after acquiring Diploma in any West Bengal Government Hospital or in any Clinical Establishment licensed under the relevant Act of the State Government.

  • Post Graduate degree in Psychology or Clinical Psychology or Applied Psychology AND a Master of Philosophy in Clinical Psychology or Medical and Social Psychology obtained after completion of a full time course of two years which includes supervised clinical training from any university recognized by UGC and approved/recognized by RCI 1992.

Application Process & Key Instructions
  1. Online Application Mandatory: All applications must be submitted online through the State Health Website: www.wbhealth.gov.in (navigate to ‘Online Recruitment’ menu).
  2. Read Instructions Carefully: Before applying, thoroughly read all instructions and eligibility criteria provided in the official notification.
  3. Fee Payment: Pay the non-refundable application fee (Rs. 100/- for General, Rs. 50/- for Reserved categories) online only via Net banking, Credit card/Debit card, or UPI by 22nd September, 2025.
  4. Complete Online Form: Fill out the online application form completely and accurately by 24th September, 2025.
  5. Retain Application ID: The Application ID generated during registration is crucial for further use and for the final submission of the application form. Keep it safe.
  6. Download & Print: After successful online submission, download and print the duly filled application form for your records.
  7. Hard Copy Submission (Mandatory): In addition to the online application, candidates are compulsorily required to submit hard copies of all self-attested photocopies of essential documents.

  9. Submission Deadline for Hard Copies: Hard copies must reach the office by 25th September, 2025. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
  10. Envelope Superscription: The envelope containing the documents must be superscribed with:
    DOCUMENTS FOR RECRUITMENT FOR THE POST OF ______________ under NHM / NAM” (Fill in the specific post name you are applying for).
  11. Essential Documents for Hard Copy Submission:
    • Mark Sheets & Certificates: Copies of Mark Sheets (FOR ALL YEARS) & CERTIFICATES of Madhyamik or equivalent, Higher Secondary or equivalent, Diploma (including computer course if applicable), Graduation degree, Master Degree, Post-Doctoral, etc. Mark sheets of all semesters/years are a must.
    • Proof of Date of Birth: Birth Certificate / Admit Card (Madhyamik Pariksha or equivalent) / school leaving certificate.
    • Residential Certificate: Passport/Voter ID Card/AADHAR Card/PAN Card/Driving License/Certificate from Counselor or Prodhan.
    • Caste Certificate: As applicable (SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B). OBC candidates must mention category ‘A’ or ‘B’ specifically.
    • EWS Certificate: Issued by competent authority, if applicable.
    • Photo Proof Identity Card: Passport or Voter ID Card or AADHAR Card or PAN Card.
    • Copy of Payment Receipt Acknowledgement: For application fee.
    • Experience Certificate: Must be on official letterhead of the Employing agency/office/firm, containing Employee’s Name, Name of the Post, Nature of Work, Period of employment (from-to), monthly salary, and signature of the Employer with date of issuance. Experience will only be considered after completion of the basic qualification. For private clinical establishments, the CE License Number must be clearly mentioned.
    • For posts requiring proficiency in Advance MS Office/Working knowledge of computers, a minimum of 6 (Six) months certificate from a bonafide Computer Centre is a must.
Important Note: All posts are purely on a contractual basis and valid up to 31-03-2025, extendable based on performance and continuation of the posts by the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal. All essential qualifications must be met before the 1st date of online application.
