The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhopal, invites eligible candidates for a Walk-In-Test/Interview for contractual posts under the extramural research project titled “Development and Evaluation Effectiveness of Improved Take home foods in Combination with Behavior Change Intervention to Improve Nutritional Status in Children in Selected Districts of Six States of India: A cluster Randomized controlled trial (The NECCTAR trial)“. This project, funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) New Delhi, is sanctioned to Dr. Arun M Kokane. Opportunities are available for Consultant-Technical (Nutrition), with B.Pharm candidates specifically eligible for the Nutrition post.

Consultant-Technical (Nutrition) 1 Rs. 1,00,000/- 40-70 years Professionals with proven competency and success in their specialization, with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience. Must possess minimum:
  • M.Sc / B.Tech / BE / MCA / MPH / B.Pharm / BAMS / BSMS / MD in AYUSH or equivalent qualifications in a relevant subject.
  • Note: PhD will be considered as 4 years’ experience (irrespective of degree duration).
  • Note: MPH / M.Tech / ME / M.Pharm will NOT be considered as any experience.
OR

Retired Government employees (Pay Level-10 and above) with requisite qualification and at least 10 years’ experience in the required specialization.
Consultant-Technical (Health Communication/Promotion) 1 Rs. 1,00,000/- 40-70 years Professionals with proven competency and success in their specialization, with at least 10 years of post-qualification experience. Must possess minimum:
  • M.Sc / B.Tech / BE / MCA / MPH / B.Pharm / BAMS / BSMS / MD in AYUSH or equivalent qualifications in a relevant subject.

Application Process & Documents Required

How to Apply & General Instructions
  • No application form to submit in advance. Eligible candidates are invited to attend a Walk-In-Test/Interview directly on the specified date.
  • Candidates must bring original certificates and one set of self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents.
  • Also bring two recent passport-size colour photographs.
  • Required Documents:
    • Proof of date of birth (Class 10th certificate/school leaving certificate)
    • Eligibility qualification mark-sheets and degrees
    • Experience certificate(s)
    • Caste certificate (if applicable)
    • Qualifying degree registration with statutory council (if applicable, e.g., Pharmacy Council for B.Pharm)
    • Other relevant testimonials
    • For Government Employees: A ‘No Objection Certificate‘ (NOC) from the current employer must be submitted at the time of the walk-in test.
  • Failure to bring original certificates and self-attested copies will result in non-permission to participate in the interview/written test.
  • Applications will be scrutinized for eligibility on the spot as per age, educational qualifications, and experience.
  • If a large number of applications are received, shortlisting may be done based on experience duration in nutrition-related projects or a written examination.

Important Terms & Conditions

Key Points to Note for Applicants
  • Candidates are solely responsible for ensuring their eligibility as per the prescribed qualification and experience. Misinformation can lead to legal action/disqualification.
  • These appointments are purely on a contractual basis for the specified project tenure (02 months) and do not confer any right to claim regular appointment or permanent absorption within AIIMS Bhopal or ICMR.
  • The contract will automatically expire upon project completion or renewal by mutual consent. It can be terminated by either side with 30 days’ notice or salary in lieu thereof.
  • Leave entitlement will be governed by ICMR leave policy for extramural/short-term research projects.
  • No hostel or other accommodation will be provided by the Institute/Principal Investigator.
  • Mere possession of minimum qualifications does not guarantee selection.
  • No Travelling Allowance (TA) or Dearness Allowance (DA) will be paid for attending the interview or joining the post.
  • Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
  • Private practice of any type is prohibited.
  • Selected candidates may be posted at any project-required location, including rural areas/field sites.
  • All disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Court of Law at Bhopal.
