Qualification & Eligibility Details
For Pharmacist Posts: Essential: For Pharmacist (ART): Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy from a recognized institute. OR Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) with 3 years of experience. Must be registered with the State Pharmacy Council. For Pharmacist (NUHM): Two years Diploma in Pharmacy (D-Pharma) (ALLOPATHIC) recognized by the Govt. of West Bengal and registered as an “A” category Pharmacist under West Bengal Pharmacy Council. Desirable: Proficiency in Bengali, basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Internet). For some posts, higher qualifications (B.Pharm/M.Pharm) will be given weightage. For Laboratory Technician Posts: Essential: Passed Higher Secondary (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry & Biology/Mathematics. Must have a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a Government-recognized institution. Desirable: 1-2 years of post-qualification experience is required for most posts. A Bachelor’s in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) is desirable for some positions. General Eligibility: The applicant must be a permanent resident of West Bengal.
