Overview of Notification No: Rc.No.1545/Recruitment/NHM/AYUSH/NTEP/2026
The Government of Telangana, Office of the District Medical and Health Officer (DM&HO), Jogulamba Gadwal District, has issued a notification for the recruitment of various posts under the National Health Mission (NHM), AYUSH, and NTEP schemes. Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the posts of Pharmacist, Lab Technician, AYUSH Medical Officer, and other roles on a purely temporary/contract basis for a period of one year. Eligible Pharmacy and Medical students can submit their applications via offline mode from 08.10.2026 to 13.10.2026. Read the detailed eligibility criteria, age limit, and application process below.

Note: Candidates who already paid the fee under previous notification No. 861/2026 (Dated: 10.07.2026) for NTEP posts are waived from fee payment upon showing valid proof.

Educational Qualification & Eligibility

Pharmacist
  • a) Must have passed Intermediate.
  • b) Must possess D.Pharmacy / B.Pharmacy / Pharm.D from a recognized institution.
  • c) Must have valid Pharmacy Council Registration.
Lab Technician (SNCU)
  • Intermediate MLT or DMLT or B.Sc (MLT) from recognized institutions.
  • Must be registered with the Telangana Para Medical Board.
Lab Technician (NTEP)
  • Intermediate (10+2) and Diploma or certified course in Medical Laboratory Technology or Equivalent.
  • Must be registered with the Telangana Para Medical Board.
  • One year Experience in NTEP or Sputum Smear Microscopy.
AYUSH Medical Officer
  • BAMS / BUMS / BHMS degree.
  • Registered with the Board of Indian Medicine / T.S. Medical Council.

Selection Process & Criteria

Selection Method Weightage / Marks Breakdown
Total Marks The selection will be based on a total of 100 Marks.
Qualifying Examination (Merit) 90 Marks will be allotted based on the marks obtained in the core qualifying examination (e.g., B.Pharm/D.Pharm for Pharmacist).
Age Weightage 10 Marks (Maximum). Awarded for age reckoned from 18 years of age. 0.5 mark will be awarded for one completed year of age with a maximum cap of 10 marks. (Reckoned as on 01-07-2026).
Final Merit List Prepared purely based on the above marks criteria and the Rule of Reservation (RoR) & Presidential Orders. The merit list will be displayed on the official website.

How to Apply & Required Documents

Step-by-Step Application Guide & Enclosures
  • Step 1: Download the Application Form from the official website: https://gadwal.telangana.gov.in.
  • Step 2: Fill the application form completely with accurate details. Paste a recent duly pasted photograph on the form.
  • Step 3: Prepare a Demand Draft (DD) for the applicable fee in favour of DM&HO, Jogulamba Gadwal district.
  • Step 4: Attach Self-attested copies of the following required documents:
    • S.S.C / Date of Birth Certificate for proof of age.
    • Intermediate or 10+2 examinations Marksheets.
    • Qualifying Examination Pass Certificate (e.g., B.Pharm/D.Pharm).
    • Marks Memos of all years of the qualifying examination.
    • Registration Certificate of respective Councils (Pharmacy Council, Medical Council, etc.).
    • Latest Community Certificate / EWS / Ex-Service Men / NCC / PH Certificate (if applicable).
    • Study certificates from 1st class to 10th class (For Local Status).
    • Permanent two-wheeler driving license (wherever required, e.g., for STLS).
  • Step 5: Submit the filled application form along with enclosures either in person or through registered post to:

  • Note: Applications received after the due date (13.10.2026, 05:00 PM) will be summarily rejected.
