National AYUSH Mission (NAM) Recruitment 2026: Pharmacist (Aushadhi Vitharakaru), CHO & Specialist Doctor Posts

Recruitment Overview & Summary
District AYUSH Office, Zilla Panchayat, Hassan (Karnataka) has released an official recruitment notification under the National AYUSH Mission (NAM). Applications are invited from eligible candidates for purely contractual appointments for the posts of Pharmacist / Medicine Dispenser (ಔಷಧಿ ವಿತರಕರು – 06 Posts), Community Health Officers (CHO – BAMS), Specialist AYUSH Doctors, Masseur, and support personnel. Pharmacy diploma and degree holders (B.Pharm / D.Pharm) with required registered clinical/dispensing experience are directly eligible to apply offline by or before 05-11-2026 (5:30 PM).

Mandatory Qualifications for Pharmacy Candidates
Essential Educational Degree
  • Must have passed B.Pharma (Bachelor of Pharmacy) from a PCI recognized University/Institute.
  • Minimum 02 Years of Experience serving in recognized AYUSH Hospitals / Dispensaries / Clinics.
  • Alternate Eligibility: If qualified B.Pharm candidates are not available, candidates possessing D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy) with at least 02 years of relevant experience will be considered.
  • Computer Proficiency: Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office is mandatory.
Experience Certification Rule Experience certificates from private AYUSH hospitals/clinics must be registered under KPME (Karnataka Private Medical Establishments Act). Must also attach the last 3 months’ salary certificate signed by the head of the institution.
Other Posts Eligibility
  • Specialist Doctor (Yoga & Naturopathy): BNYS, MS/MD (Naturopathy) + 3 yrs experience.
  • Specialist Doctor (Ayurveda): BAMS, MS (Shalyatantra) / MD (Panchakarma / Kayachikitsa) + 3 yrs experience.
  • CHO (Community Health Officer): BAMS Degree from a recognized board/university.
  • Masseur / Attendant / MPW: 10th Class (SSLC) pass + 1 to 2 years relevant hospital experience.

Age Limit & Relaxation Criteria (As on 05-11-2026)
Minimum Age Limit 18 Years Completed for all categories
SC / ST & Category-1 Candidates Maximum 45 Years (inclusive of 5-year general age relaxation)
Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B Candidates Maximum 43 Years
General Merit (GM) Candidates Maximum 40 Years
Valid Caste & Reservation Certificates Must possess valid forms issued by competent Tahsildar (Form-D for SC/ST, Form-E for Cat-1, Form-F for 2A/2B/3A/3B).

100-Point Selection Criteria & Weightage Scheme
Total Evaluation Marks 100 Marks System
Academic Merit Score (70%) Maximum 70 Marks: Weightage calculated from percentage obtained in qualifying degree/diploma examination.
AYUSH Hospital Experience (20%) Maximum 20 Marks: Experience beyond minimum requirement. Calculated as 1 mark per 3 months (4 marks per complete year) in Govt/KPME registered private AYUSH dispensaries.
Personal Interview (10%) Maximum 10 Marks: Evaluated by the District AYUSH Selection Committee.
Shortlisting Ratio for Interview
  • Posts with 3 or fewer vacancies: 1:5 ratio per vacancy.
  • Posts with more than 3 vacancies: 1:3 ratio per vacancy.

    • SSLC Marks Card (Proof of Date of Birth).
