The National Institute of Animal Biotechnology (NIAB), an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India, is inviting applications for various project positions. NIAB focuses on developing and utilizing biotechnological tools for improving animal health and productivity. This recruitment drive offers opportunities for candidates with qualifications in Pharmacy (B.Pharm, M.Pharm) and Life Sciences. Interested and eligible candidates must apply online by 23.08.2025.

Qualification & Experience

Technical Assistant (Project Position Code 1)

  • Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in Life sciences / B.Pharm / BVSc from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in cell culture and animals.

Young Professional (Project Position Code 3)

  • Eligibility: Master’s degree in Life sciences / M.Pharm / MVSc from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Experience: Preference for candidates with one year of experience in mammalian cell culture, biomaterials, molecular biology, or animal handling.

Project Research Scientist – I (Project Position Code 4)

  • Eligibility: PhD in Life science from a recognized University.
  • Experience: Preference for candidates with experience in mammalian cell culture, biomaterials, molecular biology, or animal handling.

Technical Assistant (Project Position Code 2)

  • Eligibility: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and equivalent from a recognized university.
  • Experience: Preference will be given to candidates with experience in project documentation.
