Application Fee for All Categories ₹ 200/- (Rupees Two Hundred only) per post category (Non-refundable / Non-transferable).
Bank Service Charges Applicable transaction / bank convenience charges to be borne by the applicant.
Mode of Payment Online Payment Gateway Only via Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or UPI.
Important Note Separate application form and separate fee must be paid if applying for multiple categories of posts.

Age Limit & Permissible Relaxation (As on 01-01-2026)

Age Bracket: Candidates must be born not earlier than 01-01-1986 and not later than 01-01-2008.

Detailed Essential Qualification Requirements

Junior Pharmacist 10+2 Level
  • Minimum 10+2 with Science stream from a recognized educational board.
  • Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) OR Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) / Medical Assistant Course from any Government Recognized Institute / State Pharmacy Council / Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
  • Selection via Written Examination.
Veterinary Pharmacist 10+2 Level
  • 10+2 with Science from a recognized State/Central Board.
  • Selection through Written Examination.
Junior Nurse 10+2 Level Minimum 10+2 with Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) or B.Sc. Nursing from an institution recognized by Indian Nursing Council (INC) or State Nursing Council.
Laboratory Assistant 10+2 Level 10+2 Science (Medical) having Biology & Chemistry with Diploma in Laboratory Assistant / Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from SMF or recognized institute.
MPHW (Male) / FMPHW Matric Level Matriculation (10th) pass with Diploma in Multipurpose Workers Training Course (MPHW / FMPHW) from State Medical Faculty (SMF) or any other recognized institute.

Key Examination Rules & Minimum Cut-Off Marks

Exam Marking Criteria & Document Scrutiny Guidelines
Negative Marking 0.25 Marks deducted for each incorrect answer (Out of maximum 1 mark per question).
Language / Medium of Exam The Question Paper will be set strictly in English only.
Prescribed Qualifying Marks Minimum 20% of the total marks is mandatory to qualify for the Document Verification stage.
Document Verification Ratio
  • For upto 5 vacancies: Ratio of 1:20.
  • For more than 5 vacancies: Ratio of 1:10 (subject to minimum 100 candidates).
Tie-Breaking Rules 1. Date of Birth (Older candidate placed higher) → 2. Higher aggregate percentage in basic qualification → 3. Higher qualification → 4. Alphabetical order of applicant’s name.
Examination Centres Centres will be established at Leh, Changthang, Nubra, and Sham District Headquarters only.

How to Submit LAHD-SSRB Online Application Form

Step-by-Step Online Registration & Application Protocol
  • Online Submission Only: Applications submitted via Post, By Hand, or Email are summarily rejected. Visit the official portal https://www.lahdssrb.in.
  • Part 1 – One-Time Registration (OTR): Click on the “REGISTER” link. Enter candidate’s full legal name, active mobile number, and active personal email ID. Note down the system-generated User ID and Password.
  • Part 2 – Candidate Login: Log in with credentials and navigate to the link “Apply Now” against Advertisement Notice No. 02 of 2026.
  • Uploading Photograph: Upload scanned passport-size color photograph in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB; dimensions approx 3.5 cm width × 4.5 cm height). Face must occupy at least 40% of the photograph area with both ears clearly visible. No caps, dark goggles, or blurriness allowed.
  • Uploading Signature: Upload clean handwritten signature in JPEG format (20 KB to 50 KB).
  • Online Fee Payment: Deposit the non-refundable examination fee of ₹ 200/- using Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card, or UPI.
  • Final Printout: Take a clear printout of the finalized application form. Keep it safe with self-attested supporting certificates to be furnished during the Document Verification stage.
