Eligibility Criteria (Educational & Experience)

Requirement for Pharmacy Candidates
Educational Qualification
  • Matriculation or equivalent examination.
  • Minimum qualification of Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized University.
  • Must be Registered under Pharmacy Act 1948.
  • Candidates with Bachelor degree (B.Pharm) in Pharmacy can also apply.
Experience
  • Must be registered with State Pharmacy Council.
  • Minimum two (02) years of experience as a pharmacist.
  • Preference for experience with PSB’s/PSU’s/Government organizations.
  • Basic working knowledge of computers is required.

Selection Process

Step Details of Selection
1. Shortlisting Based on education (PG/Degree/Diploma), distance from dispensary, and experience.
2. Interview Shortlisted candidates will be called for an Interview at RBI Guwahati.
3. Medical/DV Medical examination and document verification process.
4. Agreement Selected candidates must sign an Agreement with the Bank.

How to Apply (Offline Process)

Application Instructions
  • Candidates must apply in the prescribed format (Annex-I).
  • Prepare a sealed cover with photocopies of Academic, Professional, Caste, Experience certificates, and Age proof.
  • Super-scribe the envelope as:
    ‘Application for the post of Pharmacist on contract basis with fixed hourly remuneration’.
  • Address to Send:
    Regional Director, Reserve Bank of India,
    Human Resource Management Department (Recruitment Section),
    Station Road, Panbazar, Guwahati – 781001.
  • Ensure the application reaches on or before March 09, 2026 (05:00 PM).
