V. Age Limit (As of 17.07.2026)
- For Drug Inspector: 30 years for UR/EWS, 33 years for OBC, 35 years for SC/ST.
- For Scientific Officer: 40 years (Position is reserved for ST).
- Age Relaxation: Relaxable up to 10 years for PwBD candidates as per Government rules.
- Inspection of licensed drug manufacturing establishments.
- Sampling of drugs from premises for testing and analysis.
- Investigation of cases related to spurious drugs and complaints.
- Launching prosecutions for breaches of the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940.
