The District Health Society, Office of the Deputy Commissioner, North & Middle Andaman District, Mayabunder has issued a recruitment notification for filling up various vacant posts purely on a contract basis for a period of 11 months. This includes excellent opportunities for Pharmacy professionals as Pharmacist (Allopathy – RBSK) and Pharmacist (Homeopathy). Educational Qualifications (Pharmacy Focus)

Post Name Essential & Desirable Qualifications
Pharmacist (Allopathy) – RBSK Essential Qualification:
  • Degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) OR Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized University / Institution.
  • Must have valid Registration with Pharmacy Council under Section- 12 of Pharmacy Act, 1948.
Desirable Qualification:
  • Experience (if any) in the relevant field.
Pharmacist (Homeopathy) Essential Qualification:
  • XII Passed with Science subjects from a recognized Board/Institution.
  • Degree / Diploma in Homoeopathic Pharmacy or its equivalent with essential subjects like Homoeopathic Pharmacy, Homoeopathic Materia Medica, and Organon of Medicine from a recognized Institute.
    OR
    Certificate Course in Homoeopathic Pharmacy from a recognised Institution with a minimum of 03 to 05 years experience of dispensing Homoeo Medicine in a recognised Hospital or Dispensary.
Desirable Qualification:
  • Experience in dispensing Homoeo Medicine.
Public Health Nurse (PHN) 10+2 Equivalent AND B.Sc Nursing OR Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) + 1 Year Diploma in Public Health Nursing. Valid Nursing Council Registration.
Additional ANM (AANM) 12th Passed AND passed ANM certificate course with valid training certificate. Valid Nursing Council Registration.

Marking & Selection Criteria for Pharmacist

Pharmacist (Allopathy) – RBSK Evaluation [Max Marks: 100]

Education & Professional Qualification Max. Mark Criteria
Senior Secondary or equivalent (12th) 10 Marks
Degree in pharmacy (B.Pharm) OR Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognized University / Institution 40 Marks
Experience (If any) in the relevant field 20 Marks
Interview Board 30 Marks
TOTAL 100 Marks

*Note: The marking criteria for Pharmacist (Homeopathy) follows the exact same weightage pattern: 12th (10 Marks), Degree/Diploma/Certificate in Homoeopathic Pharmacy (40 Marks), Experience (20 Marks), and Interview (30 Marks).

  • The application mode is strictly OFFLINE. Candidates must fill out the prescribed application format completely.
  • A candidate wishing to apply for more than one post must submit a separate application form for each post.
  • The application should be submitted in a sealed cover superscribed clearly as:
    “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF _____________________”

    • Recent passport-size photograph of the candidate pasted on the form.
  • Important Note: Applications received after 23rd October 2026 (05:00 P.M.) or incomplete applications (without photo or requisite documents) will be summarily rejected.
  • Eligible candidates will be called for a walk-in interview. Original documents must be presented at the time of the interview.
