100% grant based seats have been sanctioned for U.P.H.C.(Urban Primary Health Centre) and U.C.H.C.(Urban Collective Health Centre) under Jamnagar Municipal Corporation to streamline the structure of urban health services by the resolutions of the Department of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Gujarat.

Qualification in Computer Knowledge: Certificate from any training institute that the candidate has basic knowledge of computer as per the syllabus prescribed by the Government Resolution No.CRR/10-2007/120320/G.5 dated 13/08/2008 of the General Administration Department of the State Government/ Should possess mark sheet or certificates of any degree or course in computer knowledge from a Government recognized university or institute with computer as a subject or passed class-10th and class-12th examination with computer subject. Candidates who do not have such certificate at this stage can also apply but must submit such certificate correctly before getting appointment otherwise they will not be eligible to get appointment. The examination prescribed by the government from time to time regarding computer knowledge also has to be cleared within the stipulated time limit. The appointment of those who do not pass the prescribed examination will be cancelled.

Selection Process
The selection process will be conducted by the Jamnagar Municipal Corporation Staff Selection Committee prescribed under Section-54 of The Gujarat Provincial Municipal Corporation Act-1949.
(A) The written competitive examination for the selection of the posts shown in Class-III advertisement will be of 1(one) hour time limit of 100 marks as per objective (MCQ) method. In which at least 35 marks have to be obtained. In this exam, 20 marks will be for general knowledge and 80 marks will be in accordance with the qualification syllabus of that place. Selection will be based on category wise maximum merit.
(B) A waiting list will be prepared by the Jamnagar Municipal Corporation following the existing prescribed norms of the State Government. A waiting list is not a selection list. Which the candidates have to keep in mind.

Exam Fee
1. Candidates have to pay the exam fee by selecting the category while filling the form.
2. The examination fee for male candidates belonging to general, S.S.P.W and economically weaker section will be Rs.500/-.
3. For all female candidates as well as candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Ex-Servicemen, Physically Handicapped Candidates 50% i.e. Rs.250/- will have to be paid.
4. Candidates of reserved category can apply on the post of non-reserved category in which the candidates of this reserved category will be eligible for 50% of the examination fee i.e. Rs.250/- but no benefit will be available in the age limit.
5. Candidates have to deposit the exam fee online only.
6. Click on “Online Payment of Fee” to submit the examination application free online, then select the appropriate option from the options of “Net Banking” or “Other Payment Mode” and fill in the following details. This will be written on the screen and you will get an e-receipt which should be printed. The associated bank charges will have to be paid by the candidate. If a candidate has paid the fee for more than one application, the fee paid will not be refunded.
7. The candidate should keep the e-receipt and the confirmed application form with him and when called by the Jamnagar Municipal Corporation, the application form along with the enclosure and a copy of the e-receipt should be submitted to RPAD. / should be sent by speed post or delivered in person at the Jamnagar Municipal Corporation office.
8. Fees will not be accepted in any other way.
9. The last time for online fee payment will be till 23:59 hrs on 6/12/2023
10. After payment of fee, the fee shall not be refundable under any circumstances or such fee shall not be considered for another examination.
11. Request for withdrawal or cancellation of application once applied will not be entertained under any circumstances.
