Short Information
The Regional Director of Medical and Health Services, Zone-II, Rajamahendravaram, under the Government of Andhra Pradesh, invites applications for 12 Pharmacy Officer (Pharmacist-Gr-II) posts. These positions are on a contract basis for a period of one year in various Primary Health Centers within Zone-II, Rajamahendravaram jurisdiction. Eligible candidates must submit their physical applications with attested documents between October 3, 2025, and October 15, 2025, by 5:00 PM. Applications received after the last date will not be accepted.

Payment Mode	Through a Demand Draft in favor of “Regional Director of Medical & Health Services, Rajamahendravaram”, payable at Rajamahendravaram.

Remuneration Details
Monthly Remuneration	Rs. 32,670/- per month
Appointment Nature	Purely on a Contract basis for one year, renewable based on performance. Candidates will have no right to claim permanent appointment.

Educational Qualifications
Must possess SSC or its equivalent examination. Must possess Dip.Pharma / B.Pharma from a recognized university. Must be registered in the AP Pharmacy Council. If the applicant possesses an equivalent qualification, a copy of the Government orders to that effect must be enclosed. Note: Candidates with qualifications other than Dip.Pharma/B.Pharma applying for this post will have their application summarily rejected.

Must possess Dip.Pharma / B.Pharma from a recognized university.
Must be registered in the AP Pharmacy Council.
If the applicant possesses an equivalent qualification, a copy of the Government orders to that effect must be enclosed.
**Note:** Candidates with qualifications other than Dip.Pharma/B.Pharma applying for this post will have their application summarily rejected.

Age Limit & Relaxations (as on 01.07.2025)
Upper age limit: 42 years. Relaxations will be applicable as per G.O.Ms.No.105 GA (Ser-A) dept., dated 27.09.2021. For SC, ST, BC, and EWS candidates: 05 (Five) Years. For Ex-servicemen: 03 (Three) years in addition to the length of service in armed forces. For differently abled persons: 10 (Ten) Years. Maximum age limit with all relaxations: 52 years.

Selection Criteria (Total Marks: 100)
75 marks: For aggregate marks obtained in all years of the qualifying examination (Dip.Pharma/B.Pharma). Up to 10 marks: @ 1.0 mark per completed year after acquiring the requisite qualification, as per Govt. Memo no.4274/D1/2013, HM&FW (D1) Dept., dt.10.07.2014. Up to 15 marks: For contract employment based on working area: @ 2.5 marks per six months in Tribal Area. @ 2.0 marks per six months in Rural Area. @ 1.0 marks per six months in Urban Area. @ 0.5 marks per six months in Covid-19 (If worked for less than 6 months for Covid, weightage is 0.8 marks per completed month). No weightage for services less than six months. Service weightage will be reckoned up to the date of notification as per Govt. Memo No.4274/D1/2013, HM&FW (D1) dept., dt. 10.07.2014.

Jurisdiction for Recruitment

The jurisdiction for this recruitment is Zone-II only, covering the erstwhile East Godavari, West Godavari, and Krishna Districts. Vacancies at health facilities within these district boundaries will be considered for filling.

General Instructions to Candidates

The merit list will be valid for one year for filling subsequent arising vacancies.
Counseling will be conducted for allocation of postings.
Selected candidates must report to their place of posting within one week of the appointment order.
If selected, candidates must stay at the bona fide Head Quarters compulsorily.
Candidates must abide by Government rules and regulations.
