Applications are open for qualified Indian nationals to join our dynamic team as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) under the SERB-sponsored project titled “Exploring naturally inspired piperine derivatives as multitarget directed ligands for the management of Alzheimer’s disease.” This exciting opportunity offers a 3-year engagement period, focusing on cutting-edge research in the realm of Alzheimer’s disease management.
As a Junior Research Fellow, you will play a crucial role in the exploration of naturally inspired piperine derivatives, aiming to develop multitarget directed ligands for effective Alzheimer’s disease management. This position is purely temporary and aligns with the project’s duration.

Essential Qualifications |
First class in M.Pharm/M.S.(Pharm.)/ M.Tech(Pharm)/ M.Tech in Medicinal Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry / Pharmacognosy / Natural Product / Pharmacology with GATE / GPAT / CSIR-NET or equivalent examination. The candidates should have basic degree in pharmacy (B.Pharm). The candidates appearing in the final semester of M.Pharm / M.S. (Pharm.) are also eligible. Such candidates need to produce the essential documents justifying qualification in case of selection. |

Duration |
Initially for one year, extendable up to 3 years depends on the performance. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. |

Age Limit |
28 Years (relaxable for 5 years for SC/ST/Physically Handicapped/Female candidates). All things being equal, SC/ST candidates will be preferred as per GOI rules. |

Salary |
As per SERB norms (Rs.31,000 + HRA 16%) |

1. The PI has the discretion to restrict the number of candidates to be called for interview to a reasonable limit on the basis of qualifications and experience higher than the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.

3. Original certificates and self-attested copies of all certificates need to be presented before the interview for verification.
