Short Information
The Gujarat Gaun Seva Pasandgi Mandal (GSSSB), Gandhinagar has released an official notification (Advt No: 407/202526) for the recruitment of 184 Pharmacists / Compounders (Ayurveda), Class-III under the Directorate of AYUSH, Health and Family Welfare Department. Candidates with a degree or diploma in Pharmacy (Ayurveda) are eligible to apply online between May 15 and May 29, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
- Option 1: Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (Ayurveda) obtained from any recognized University.
- Option 2: Candidate must possess a Diploma in Pharmacy (Ayurveda) AND have approximately 2 years of experience as a pharmacist or compounder in Government, Local Body, or Govt Undertaking.
- Basic knowledge of Computer Applications is mandatory.
- Proficiency in Gujarati or Hindi (or both) is required.
Age Limit (As on 29/05/2025):
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 35 Years
- Relaxations: Female (General): 5 years | Reserved Categories: 5 years | Divyang (Male): 10 years | Divyang (Female): 15 years. (Max age not to exceed 45 years).

Examination Pattern (Objective Type)
* Negative Marking: 0.25 (1/4) marks for every wrong answer. Total Duration: 3 Hours (180 Minutes).
How to Apply
- Visit the official OJAS Gujarat portal: https://ojas.gujarat.gov.in.
- Select “Online Application” -> “Apply” and choose GSSSB department.
- Find Advt No. 407/202526 and click on “Apply Now”.
- Fill in personal, educational, and experience details accurately.
- Upload scanned photograph (5cm x 3.6cm) and signature (2.5cm x 7.5cm) in JPG format (max 15kb).
- Submit the application and note down the Application Number.
- Confirm the application to generate the Confirmation Number. No changes are allowed after confirmation.
- Pay the application fee online via Debit/Credit Card or Net Banking.
