Position Title: Sr. Research Associate

Position Details:

Title: Senior Research Associate (SRA-1/SRA-2)
Department: Synthesis

Experience Level: Mid-Senior level

Key Responsibilities:

• Synthesis, purification, and characterization of novel intermediates.
• Deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery.
• Work collaboratively in a team to advance chemistry projects.
• Conduct reactions safely and ensure excellent laboratory practices.
• Possess a strong knowledge of organic chemistry, functional group conversion, and multiple-step synthesis.
• Analyze NMR, IR, and Mass Spectrometry data accurately.
• Utilize tools such as MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint, Chem Draw/ISIS, and electronic lab notebooks.
• Conduct literature searches using SciFinder.

Qualifications:

• M.Sc in Organic Chemistry or related field, or M. Pharma.
• 5-10 years of industry experience with a leading CRO organization.

Skills:

• Expertise in handling pyrophoric reactions.
• Proficiency in TLC, column purification, and extraction.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to adapt and stretch when project challenges increase.
