We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated scientist with expertise in Pharmacognosy or Pharmacology to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in natural product chemistry, drug discovery, and pharmacological screening and possess excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct research in Pharmacognosy or Pharmacology, with a focus on the discovery and development of novel drugs or therapeutic compounds.
2. Design and execute experiments to investigate the pharmacological properties of natural products or synthetic compounds.
3. Analyze and interpret experimental data and draw meaningful conclusions to support project objectives.
4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance research projects from discovery to preclinical development.
5. Stay abreast of the latest scientific advancements in Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, and related fields, and integrate relevant findings into research activities.
6. Prepare and present research findings internally and externally through publications, presentations and conferences.
7. Contribute to the preparation of grant proposals and funding applications to support research initiatives.
8. Mentor junior scientists and research associates, providing guidance and support in experimental design, data analysis, and professional development.

Qualification & Experience
1. Ph.D. in Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology or a related field.
2. M. Pharm degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical research, preferably in academia or industry.
3. Demonstrated expertise in experimental design, data analysis, and interpretation.
4. Strong publication record in peer-reviewed journals, with an H-index greater than 15.
5. Proficiency in relevant laboratory techniques, instrumentation, and analytical methods.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
7. Strong collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
8. Prior experience in drug discovery or natural product research is desirable but not required.
