Position Overview

Designation: Health/Pharmacy Technician (Group II)
Department: Dispensary/Health Services

This role provides an excellent opportunity for pharmacy students to gain hands-on experience in healthcare services and pharmacy management in a renowned research institute.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification (any of the following):

• Option 1:
  • SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects (minimum 55% marks).
  • ITI Certificate or National/State Trade Certificate in Pharmacy.
• Option 2:
  • SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects (minimum 55% marks).
  • 2 years full-time apprentice training in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
• Option 3:
  • SSC/10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects (minimum 55% marks).
  • 3 years of work experience in Pharmacy in a Ministry/Department/Organization/Public Sector Undertaking/Autonomous Body under Government of India/State/UT.

Age Limit:

• Maximum Age: 28 years as of the last application date (26.12.2024).
• Age Relaxation:
  • SC/ST: +5 years
  • OBC (NCL): +3 years
  • PwBD: +10 years
  • Government Employees: +5 years

Key Responsibilities

• Assist medical officers and senior technical staff in managing the dispensary operations.
• Handle pharmacy-related tasks such as dispensing medicines and maintaining drug stock records.
• Oversee the inventory and ensure the proper storage of medicines.
• Work in a shift-based schedule to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Salary and Benefits

• Pay Level: Level-2 (as per 7th CPC).
• Monthly Salary: ₹38,483/- (inclusive of Basic Pay, DA, HRA, and Transport Allowance).

Selection Process

The selection process involves:

1. Trade Test: Candidates will be tested on their practical skills in pharmacy-related operations.
2. Written Examination: Candidates qualifying the trade test will appear for an objective-type examination.

Exam Details:

• Mode: OMR-based or Computer-based (Objective Type).
• Medium: English and Hindi (except for English Language questions).
• Duration: 2 hours 30 minutes.

Exam Pattern:

The final merit list will be based on marks obtained in Paper-II and Paper-III.
