Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) has released the detailed notification for the recruitment of Inspector of Drugs (Drug Inspector), Veterinary Officers, and other Medical posts. This is a golden opportunity for B.Pharm / Pharmacy Graduates with experience. The application process is entirely online via the OTR (One Time Registration) system.

Educational Qualification & Eligibility

Post Name Eligibility Criteria (Detailed)

Inspector of Drugs

 (A) Educational Qualification:
  • Degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences; OR
  • Degree in Medicine with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University.

(B) Experience (Mandatory):
  • 18 Months experience in the manufacture of at least one of the substances specified in Schedule ‘C’ to the Drug and Cosmetics Rules 1945; OR
  • 18 Months experience in testing of at least one of the substances specified in Schedule ‘C’ in an approved laboratory; OR
  • 03 Years experience in the inspection of firms manufacturing substances specified in Schedule ‘C’.

Age Limit: 21 to 40 Years.

Veterinary Officer
  • Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) from a recognized University.
  • Must be registered with the Uttar Pradesh Veterinary Council.
Selection Process (Inspector of Drugs)
Selection Method Screening Examination + Interview
Weightage
  • Screening Test: 75% Marks
  • Interview: 25% Marks
Negative Marking Yes, 0.33 (1/3rd) marks deducted for every wrong answer.
