Biocon Biologics Chennai RND team is looking for enthusiastic research professional skilled in different aspects of cell culture process development in the development of biologics/biosimilars. Seeking candidates with experience in process development, quality-modulation, scale-up, tech-transfer, and/or process characterization.
Qualification: M. Sc. / M. Tech. Degree in life sciences such as biology, microbiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, immunology, biotechnology or closely related field ,
Experience: between 3 to 7 years; Ph.D. with 0-1 year of relevant experience in cell culture techniques.
Location: Chennai
Key responsibilities:
- Execute bench-level cell culture experiments in shake flasks, AMBR, and bioreactors
- Day-to-day operation of cell culture processes such as revival of cell-banks, maintenance of seed trains, supporting production runs, sampling, feeding, and in-process analytics using BGA, Vi-cell, Cedex, and other equipment.
- Prepare media, feeds and stock solutions as required.
- Support upkeep of lab instrumentation through daily calibration, PM, and coordination with vendor for resolution of issues.
- Document experimental data into eLN following ALCOA principles. Compile data into presentations and prepare technical reports.
- Drafting and revision of protocols for preparation of media, feed, etc and for process unit operations.
- Troubleshoot experiments and assist in designing experiments based on historical data
- Literature survey of relevant techniques, processes, and guidelines
